ARSENAL CLOSE IN ON PAULISTA
Arsenal are closing in on a £15m deal for Villarreal
defender Gabriel Paulista but face a battle with the
home office to get a work permit for the Brazilian
defender, according to the Daily Mail .
However, Sky sources understand the Gunners are
interested in the 24-year-old, who played in Villarreal's
1-0 win over Getafe last night, but formal talks have yet
to take place between the two clubs.

CHELSEA IN CUADRADO TALKS
Chelsea are in talks with Fiorentina over a deal for winger Juan Cuadrado. The Colombian international was heavily linked
with Manchester United last summer, but Blues' boss Jose Mourinho is thought to be interested with Mohamed Salah set to leave Stamford Bridge.

MILNER FUTURE
James Milner's future at Manchester City is under scrutiny once again with positive talks continuing with both sides heading
towards agreement.
However, there are plenty of clubs waiting in the wings should an agreement not be reached. There's reported interest from two Italian clubs and a Spanish club. In England, Liverpool and Arsenal are watching Milner's contract situation closely.


REAL CONFIRM ODEGAARD SIGNING
Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Norwegian teenager Martin Odegaard, subject to a medical. The 16-year-old, who has already been capped by Norway, was linked with a whole host of clubs around Europe but chose the Spanish giants after they agreed a deal with Stromsgodset.The midfielder is due to face the
media alongside the club's sporting director Emilio Butrugueno.
