Barcelona line up new deal for Neymar.

The Brazil captain will be handed a new deal keeping him at the club until 2020 with a buy-out clause rising to €250million (£180m) if Josep Maria Bartomeu, who stood down from the presidency last week so that the club's electoral process could begin, wins the July 18 elections.
Bartomeu was vice-president when Barcelona signed Neymar in 2013 and then succeeded Sandro Rosell who stood down over the tax evasion charges that followed the transfer.
Bartomeu has been called to stand trial over an alleged €13m (£9.5m) in taxes the Spanish treasury claims should have been paid on the transfer.
But while the legal battle rumbles on Barcelona paper Sport claim Bartomeu has already agreed a two-year extension to Neymar’s original contract that runs until 2018 and for his buy-out clause to match the one placed on Lionel Messi.
The deal will only be signed off if Bartomeu wins the election next month. If Joan Laporta, who is expected to step forward as a candidate in the next seven days, wins then negotiations will begin a fresh.
According to Sport Neymar’s net earnings would rise to €12m (£8.5m) if the new contract is signed placing him on a par with captain Andres Iniesta and below only Messi on Barça’s pay-scale.
