Inter Milan have confirmed the arrival of Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia for a fee in the region of €35million (£25m) subject to a medical.
The Italian club posted a picture of the French international signing a five-year deal thought to be worth €4m (£2.8m a year) on their official Twitter account on Sunday.
He will arrive in Italy for a medical on Monday after Inter fought off competition from rivals AC Milan as well as Arsenal and Tottenham.
Inter are prepared to spend big this summer following a disappointing campaign under Roberto Mancini in which they only finished 8th in Serie A.
Kondogbia was one of Monaco’s standout players last season as they reached the Champions League quarter finals.
