Leicester sack Pearson.

Leicester City have sacked manager Nigel Pearson.
The news comes just over a month after Pearson successfully
guided the Foxes out of the relegation zone at the end of last
season.
Leicester's board issued the following statement, which cited the
breakdown of the club's working relationship with Pearson as the reason for the move.
It said: "The board of directors recognises the success Nigel has
helped to bring to Leicester City during his two spells in charge of the club, particularly during the last three and a half years.
"However, it has become clear to the club that fundamental
differences in perspective exist between us. Regrettably, the club
believes that the working relationship between Nigel and the Board is no longer viable.

Arda Turan keen on £29m Chelsea move.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan wants to join Chelsea in a £29million deal this summer. The Blues are emerging as strong candidates to land the talented Turkey star ahead of next season.
Turan wants to leave the Spanish capital this summer; news that has alerted a host of Europe's top clubs.
Chelsea are among the 28-year-old's suitors and have held initial talks with his representatives over a summer switch.
The Blues, though, face stiff competition from Paris Saint Germain, while Manchester United have also registered an interest.
But sources close to Turan have indicated the midfielder prefers a switch to west London, with having the chance to work with Jose Mourinho a big attraction for the Turk.
The news leaves Chelsea are front-runners to land Turan this summer, but it remains to be seen whether Mourinho is prepared to meet the player's £29million release clause.

Millennium Stadium in Cardiff confirmed as host for the 2017 Champions League final.

The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff will host the Champions League final in 2017, UEFA has confirmed.
The executive committee of European football's governing body convened in Prague for a meeting which touched upon on a variety of subjects, including the appointment of club competition final venues in two years' time.
Cardiff has long been reported to be among the frontrunners for the 2017 Champions League final and the Millennium Stadium was confirmed as host by UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino on Tuesday.

UEFA also announced that the Friends Arena, Stockholm, will host the 2017 Europa League final and the Philip II Arena, in Skopje, Macedonia, will stage the 2017 Super Cup.
Wales stars Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey were quick to welcome the Champions League final coup for Cardiff on their Twitter accounts.
Bale Tweeted: 'I know how passionate Welsh football fans are so it's great the final is coming to my home city of Cardiff.'
Ramsey is clearly hoping Arsenal make the 2017 showpiece final. He Tweeted: 'The Millennium Stadium is a fantastic stadium. It'll be a brilliant occasion. I'd love to be part of it.'

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will unveil Stamford Bridge expansion plans.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will unveil his remarkable vision for the future of the Premier League champions on Tuesday at the start of a three-day public consultation at Stamford Bridge.
The exhibition for local residents will be the first glimpse for Chelsea fans of Abramovich’s blueprint for a rebuilt 60,000 stadium that he wants to be a cathedral of football, paying homage to the club’s history at their one and only venue.
The design of the four new stands will take their inspiration not from the uniform style of most recent stadiums, but from the buttresses, pillars and gothic architecture of Westminster Abbey in whose diocese Stamford Bridge once stood.
And the history of the club’s surrounding neighbourhood has been studied to the extent that a modern version of Stamford Bridge itself — first mentioned in 1410 to be in need of repairs in the court rolls of Henry IV — will be part of the grand design more than 600 years later, going back to the future.
This attention to detail has even included researching the exact shade of the original Chelsea blue.
The building plan — with no estimated cost at such an early stage but likely to be well in excess of the mooted £500million — is being financed by Abramovich, who is conducting the whole ambitious project as a separate entity run by his people away from Chelsea Football Club business.

Despite the disruption the building of a new stadium will cause to locals, Chelsea fans can be assured that it will at least guarantee the Abramovich ownership dynasty.
Part of Roman’s reasons for wanting to spend the best part of another billion pounds on Chelsea is to eventually hand over a stadium fit for a European football superpower to his eldest son, 21-year-old Arkadiy, who has inherited his father’s love of the club.

Widespread reports in the British and Spanish media have linked the defender, who has two years left on his contract at the

And Sky Sports Spanish football expert Graham Hunter thinks the deal could go through because the player has made it so clear to Madrid that he wants a move away.

Petr Cech receives death threats from Twitter users.

Arsenal new boy Petr Cech has received several death threats from Chelsea fans on Twitter following his £10million move to the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea supporters appear to be unhappy with Cech's decision to move across London despite the fact the Czech Republic international represented his former side with distinction during his 11-year spell at Stamford Bridge.
Several Twitter users purporting to be Chelsea fans labelled Cech a 'traitor' and a 'snake', while another said 'Cech is dead to me, the helmet wearing snake'.

A Chelsea fan with the username '@Febreezion' went as far as tweeting: 'Say goodbye to your family for one last time before they go to sleep, you won't be seeing them tomorrow you snake idiot.'
Another made reference to the incident which saw Cech sustain a serious head injury following a collision with then-Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt in October 2006.
'F*** you Petr Cech you fucking snake, can't believe you went to f***ing Arsenal. Really wish Stephen Hunt ended your life. F***ing C***.'
The disgusting tweets aimed at Cech and his close family continued throughout the evening with @Enegali10 posting: 'F******** off just saw Cech signed. Go f*** yourself. F****** brain damaged ugly sk**. Hope your kids have cancer. F****** nonce.
'I'm going to bring my SR-25 sniper rifle to the Bridge when we play Arsenal. Will be so f****** good to see Cech's blood on the pitch.'
One Twitter user went as far as photoshopping a picture of a snake onto an image of Cech in a Chelsea shirt.

Cech joins Arsenal.

Arsenal have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Petr Cech from
Chelsea for around £10m.
The 33-year-old, who made more than 400 appearances in 11
years for the Blues, decided to leave Stamford Bridge after losing
his first-team spot to Thibaut Courtois.
He won four Premier League titles, the Champions League, Europa League, four FA Cups and three League Cup trophies with Chelsea.
Although Chelsea were reluctant to let Cech join one of their rivals, the Czech Republic international was assured he could choose his preferred destination after his service to the club.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said Cech was one of the outstanding 'keepers in the world and would be a great addition to the Gunners squad.
He told the club’s website: “Petr Cech is a player that I have
admired for a long time and I am very pleased that he has decided to join us.
“He has proven over many seasons that he is one of the
outstanding 'keepers in the world and he will add great strength to our squad.”
A seven-time Czech Footballer of the Year, Cech has 114 caps for
his country. He joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2004 as Jose
Mourinho took charge at Stamford Bridge for the first time.
Cech told the Arsenal website he was eager to join the club
following talks with Wenger, saying: “I’m really excited about
joining Arsenal Football Club and can't wait to join up for pre-
season.
"I have the same commitment to football, the same motivation and the same hunger for success as I had at the beginning of my
career, and I love the challenges brought by the top quality players you face while playing in the Premier League.
“When Arsene Wenger spoke to me about his ambitions for this
club, and how he saw me as part of this team, the decision was
clear.”

Paulinho leaves Spurs for Guangzhou.

Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande have confirmed they have
agreed a deal to sign Paulinho from Tottenham for a fee of £9.8m.
The 26-year-old midfielder moved to White Hart Lane from Corinthians in his homeland Brazil two years ago for around £17m- one of several new arrivals at the club with the money generated from the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.
Paulinho's fee was a club record at the time, since surpassed by
Erik Lamela, but after impressing in his first few months he failed to kick on and in particular figured little following the departure of Andre Villas-Boas in December 2013.
The Brazilian was unable to command a regular place under Tim
Sherwood, who replaced Villas-Boas and under Maurico
Pochettino last season made just three starts in the Premier
League. Now he will move to Asia to be reunited with Luis Felipe Scolari, who is in charge of Guangzhou and selected him for Brazil’s squad at the 2013 Confederations Cup.
Paulinho’s move will go through officially later this week and he
will link up with his new club on a four-year contract on Thursday -ending a two-year spell in north London where he scored 10 goals in 67 appearances for the club.

Liverpool set to sign Clyne.

England full-back Nathaniel Clyne is expected to sign for Liverpool from Southampton on Monday, according to Sky sources. Clyne, 24, will return from holiday to sign a five-year deal, subject to him successfully passing a medical.
The transfer will be worth an initial £12.5m up-front to the Saints with additional payments, based on certain conditions that would eventually be met by the player, to add up to a total of £15m.
Clyne moved to St Mary's from Crystal Palace in 2012 and made
41 appearances for Ronald Koeman’s team last season, earning
his first England cap in November.
Liverpool have been swift in their transfer dealings so far in the
current window, landing striker Danny Ings, midfielder James
Milner and goalkeeper Adam Bogdan on free transfers as well as
young Brazilian attacker Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim for
£21.3m and defender Joe Gomez, for £3.5m, from Charlton.

Arturo Vidal to Arsenal?

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has agreed a deal with Arsenal ahead of a £21million move, according to reports in Italian newspaper La Stampa.
The 28-year-old is currently on Copa America duty with his country, but the Chile midfielder looks set for a move to the Premier League, if reports are to be believed.

Morgan Schneiderlin poised to seal £25m deal to Manchester United.

Morgan Schneiderlin is set to sign a four-year deal in a £25million move to Manchester United after Arsenal pulled out of the race for the Southampton midfielder.
The 25-year-old could be key for Louis van Gaal, with a holding midfielder a priority given United’s problems in that position when Michael Carrick was injured last season.
Negotiations may take time but unless there is a late inquiry from another club, the Frenchman looks set for Old Trafford.
United have also considered Bastian Schweinsteiger but it is unclear whether the Bayern Munich midfielder will push for a move, although signing Schneiderlin would not preclude a bid for the German.
Arsenal are not prepared to match Southampton's price tag and decided against a move with Francis Coquelin’s rise an important factor.

Juniors from Serie A winners Juventus.

which Tevez scored the winning spot kick.
The 31-year-old began his career at Boca as a teenager before
moving to Brazilian side Corinthians in 2005 and the Buenos Aires club had repeatedly been linked with a move for the striker in recent months.
Newspaper reports had claimed that Paris St-Germain, Liverpool
and Atletico Madrid had also been interested in acquiring Tevez's services, but Boca have won the race for his signature.
"It is a day of joy and great satisfaction," Boca president Daniel
Angelici told the club's official Facebook page.

Everton complete £4.2m signing of Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona.

Everton have confirmed the signing of Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu.
The 21-year-old has signed a three-year-contract - with the option of a further year - in a deal worth £4.2million.
Deulofeu impressed on loan at Goodison Park in the 2013-14 campaign but returned to his parent club and was subsequently loaned out again to Sevilla.
He has long been touted as one of Barcelona's next generation of stars but has failed to establish himself in first-team football either with the Catalan club or elsewhere and that is reflected in the purchase price.
However, for that reason Barcelona have protected themselves against losing one of their brightest young talents by insisting on a release clause within the first two years if they meet certain conditions and having the right of first refusal if Everton decide to sell the player.
Toffees boss Roberto Martinez, who had a good relationship with Deulofeu, has kept tabs on the youngster and moved quickly to make him his second signing of the summer after capturing out-of-contract Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley.
'Gerard needs no introduction to anyone here at Everton, for we are all well aware of his incredible footballing talent,' Martinez told evertonfc.com.
'We got to know him really well from his loan period, not only as such a talented player but also his great character. He will be a fantastic asset to our club.'

Manchester United launch opening £35m bid for Sergio Ramos.

Manchester United have lodged an opening bid for Sergio Ramos and the Real Madrid defender has asked his club to consider it.
United's written offer is understood to be around £35million and came as Ramos met with Real Madrid officials on Wednesday morning and reaffirmed his decision to leave the club.
Madrid chief executive Jose Angel Sanchez sat down with the player and his brother and agent Rene Ramos at the club's Valdebebas training ground but instead of reconciliation the player requested that the club open negotiations with United.
The opening bid is understood to be independent of David de Gea's move in the opposite direction but it is clear United will now use their interest in Ramos to come to an agreement over the sale of their goalkeeper.
In the last two days the war between Ramos and the Spanish club's president Florentino Perez has escalated beyond the parameters of stalled contract negotiations and on Wednesday Ramos asked Real to climb down from their stance of only allowing him to leave if a club pays his £180m buy-out clause.

Ramires in talks with Chelsea over new deal.

Chelsea have opened talks with midfielder Ramires over a bumper new contract.
Initial discussions regarding a new long-term deal for the Brazil international have commenced and will continue over the summer.
Ramires' attitude has impressed Jose Mourinho since his return to Stamford Bridge in 2013 and the Special One is keen to reward the former Benfica star with a contract extension.
His current £65,000-per-week deal expires in 2017 and the Blues want to ensure there is no uncertainty over his long-term future.
The 27-year-old has been an integral member of Chelsea's squad since his arrival in 2010.

Roberto Firmino poses in Liverpool shirt.

Roberto Firmino has been pictured in a Liverpool shirt for the first time since he became the club's second most expensive signing ever.
The attacking midfielder sealed a £29million move from from Hoffenheim after a deal was completed overnight, and he was unveiled by the club alongside chief executive Ian Ayre.
The Brazil international, 23, has agreed a five-year contract, worth more than a £100,000 per week.
He requires a work permit and will complete the formalities of a medical at Anfield once the Copa America is over.
Firmino, who was previously linked with Manchester United, has been Liverpool’s top target for the summer window and completing the transfer is a statement of intent. The Reds will pay £22m up front as part of the transfer.
It could pave the way for Raheem Sterling to be sold, though Liverpool refuse to take anything less than £50m for the England international after Manchester City saw their previous bids turned down.
Only Andy Carroll, at £35m in January 2011, has cost more than Firmino, who, with nine caps to his name, will join compatriots Lucas Leiva and Philippe Coutinho at Anfield.

The high-tech ball will be also be used in La Liga and Serie A but has not been officially unveiled by Nike. Some of West Ham's stars including James Tomkins, Joey O'Brien and Darren Randolph were seen using it for the first time at Chadwell Heath.
The ball has been made brighter and more colourful to help players see it better - making them react faster. Nike have given it 12 panels to help with a more accurate flight, which is sure to benefit some of the Premier League's biggest hitters.

done, and did so in the early hours of Wednesday morning, UK
time - though the deal is still subject to a medical that will not take place until after Brazil have concluded their participation in the Copa America.
Firmino, 23, is Liverpool’s fifth signing of the summer as boss

Arsenal agree Cech fee.

Arsenal have agreed a £10.9m fee for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr
Cech according to Sky sources.
The fee was one of the key elements outstanding as Arsenal edge
closer to finalising the transfer of the Czech Republic international.
It is understood that Cech has already agreed personal terms in
principle with Arsenal, but no final deal has been announced by
either club.
If the deal goes through, as is now widely expected, Cech could be eligible for Arsenal's first game of the season - the Community
Shield on August 2 when their opponents will be Premier League
champions Chelsea, where Cech has won a string of major
honours in an 11-year spell at Stamford Bridge.
The transfer will be a cash only deal, with Chelsea's request to
receive a home-grown player as part of the proposed transfer no
longer being considered.
Cech is said to be grateful to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich
for allowing him to move to whatever club he chooses, even
though that is now set to be London and title rivals Arsenal.
The 33-year-old has one year left on his contract at Stamford
Bridge but has been searching for a new employer after spending much of last season as second choice keeper behind Thibaut Courtois.

Liverpool hold talks with Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool are watching Roberto Firmino, Carlos Bacca and Salomon Rondon at the Copa America with a view to bolstering their attacking options this summer.
A collection of scouts are in South America for Brendan Rodgers keeping tabs on the trio.
The Reds have held talks with Firmino, who scored in Brazil’s win against Venezuela on Sunday.
The 23-year-old has attracted plenty of interest this summer and looks likely to leave Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in the coming weeks.Reports in Brazil suggested that an £18million deal had been agreed between Liverpool and the German club.

Phil Jones to sign new Manchester United contract.

Manchester United defender Phil Jones is set to end uncertainty over his future at Old Trafford by signing a new contract this week.
Jones is understood to have agreed similar terms to his United and England teammate Chris Smalling worth in the region of £80,000 a week.
The 23-year-old, who joined United from Blackburn for £16million in 2011, would have been out of contract at the end of next season and concerns were growing about his future at the club with manager Louis van Gaal determined to sign a new centre-back this summer.
However, Jones can also operate as a right-back or in midfield, and United were keen to tie the England international to a new deal.
It comes after Smalling said earlier in June that he and Jones have proved they deserve to be the long-term centre half partnership for United.

Mario Mandzukic touches down in Turin.

Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic has arrived in Turin ahead of his move to Juventus.
There had been much speculation over the Croat's future following an ongoing dispute with current manager Diego Simeone who claimed the striker 'annoyed him easily.'
Manchester United were linked with a possible move as they continue to scour the transfer market to find a suitable replacement for Radamel Falcao who failed to earn an extended stay.
However, the Italian side took to Twitter on Sunday night to confirm the former Bayern Munich striker had arrived in Italy - posting a picture alongside the caption 'Welcome, Mario.'
On his arrival the striker said: 'I like Juventus and I like the city. I hope I will be happy here. I will fight for my new team.'
Earlier this week Italian side's manager Massimiliano Allegri unofficially confirmed Juventus, who won the title by an impressive 17 points last season, would sign the 29-year-old during the transfer window.
Allegri later said of the striker: 'He's a player who has scored goals in every league he's played in. He's got character, is an internationally experienced player and he's going to do well in Italy.
'We've signed him because we wanted him. He's a great player and I'm delighted about his arrival.'

He will arrive in Italy for a medical on Monday after Inter fought off competition from rivals AC Milan as well as Arsenal and Tottenham.

The highly-regarded Charlton defender completed a medical on Friday and has put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal after the clubs agreed a fee in the region of £3.5million.

'The club has got great history and it's a great club, and one that I've always been following from when I was young.'

Massimiliano Allegri confirms Mario Mandzukic will sign for Juventus.

Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic will join Juventus this summer.
Although there has not yet been official confirmation of the move, Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri admitted he is 'delighted about his arrival' in a revealing interview with Sky Sports Italia.
There has been much speculation over the Croat's future following an ongoing dispute with Atletico coach Diego Simeone and Old Trafford was heavily touted as a possible destination.
But Louis van Gaal, who was also linked with a move for Mandzukic when he took the reins at Manchester United last year, has missed out as the player's €18million (£13m) move to Italy will go ahead.
Allegri said of the 29-year-old: 'He's a player who has scored goals in every league he's played in. He's got character, is an internationally experienced player and he's going to do well in Italy.
'We've signed him because we wanted him. He's a great player and I'm delighted about his arrival.'
Mandzukic joined Atletico from Bayern Munich in July 2014, racing to 14 goals in the first half of his debut season. He scored four more in January, before a barren spell saw him go without a goal for 11 games until the end of the season.

Neymar banned for rest of Copa America.

Neymar has been banned for the rest of the Copa America
following his red card in Brazil's match against Colombia.
A disciplinary panel of the South American confederation ruled on Friday that he must sit out four games for violent conduct after the sending off, ruling him out of the remainder of the competition even if Brazil reach the final.
In addition to his ban, the 23-year-old was also fined $10,000.
Brazil have the right to appeal the ruling.
The Barcelona forward picked up a red card after kicking the ball at Colombia's Pablo Armero after the final whistle in Colombia's 1-0 victory over Brazil on Wednesday. He also appeared to headbutt Jeison Murillo.
Brazil play their final group game on Sunday against Venezuela. If they advance to the knockout rounds they could only play a
maximum of three more games.
Brazil are tied on points with Colombia, Venezuela and Peru
heading into the last group game.

Falcao hints on potential loan move to Chelsea.

Radamel Falcao expects his future to be resolved soon and hinted a potential loan move to Chelsea could be on the cards.
United opted not to make Falcao move permanent after he scored just four times in 29 appearances, but Chelsea boss Jose
Mourinho is keen to sign the 29-year-old to bolster his attacking
options following the departure of Didier Drogba.
Falcao, who impressed with both Porto and Atletico Madrid before moving to France, was asked about the reports when he spoke to reporters following Colombia's victory over Brazil at the Copa America in Chile.
"I am just thinking of the Copa America and the squad, my staff
are taking care of this." Falcao said.
Asked if the reports linking him with a loan move to Chelsea were correct, Falcao added: "It can be, you will know soon."

Neymar and Carlos Bacca sent off after final whistle.

Brazil's first defeat by Colombia for 24 years ended in shameful scenes in Santiago as Neymar was sent off after the final whistle.
The Selecao captain blasted the ball at Pablo Armero before aiming a headbutt at goalscorer Jeison Murillo as all hell broke lose.
Following the resultant melee, Chilean referee Enrique Osses brandished red cards to the Barcelona forward and Colombia striker Carlos Bacca who had retaliated.
Neymar had already been booked for a foolish yellow card that ruled him out of what is now a crucial clash against Venezuela on Sunday as Colombia blew Group C wide open thanks to Murillo's first-half strike.
It was no more than Jose Pekerman's side deserved as they breathed new life into their Copa America campaign while in the opposite dugout, Dunga watched as his run of 11 straight victories came to an abrubt end.
But all bar one of those were friendlies and Brazil needed Neymar to be at his best just to overcome Peru last weekend.
Now they must reach the last eight - and possibly the final - without him, with a decision on the length of his ban due on Thursday afternoon.
And that looks a tall order based on a performance that was both flat and lifeless.
'We played once without Neymar and we have to be ready, we have a group,' said Dunga. 'We would like to have him but its not possible so we must find a way to overcome it and solve our situation.'

MILAN SACK INZAGHI.

Filippo Inzaghi has been sacked as manager of AC Milan after just one season in charge of the Serie A giants. The former Juventus and Milan striker endured a difficult first year in
full-time management, having guided the seven-time European
champions to a disappointing tenth-placed finish last season.
Inzaghi's team won fewer Serie A games last campaign than any Milan side since the 2000-01 campaign - form which saw the
41-year-old end a 14-year spell with the club.

Roma unveil ambitious new stadium project.

Serie A giants Roma are moving ahead with an ambitious £1billion plan for a new, privately financed stadium and surrounding business and entertainment centre.
Pending government approval, construction will begin on the city's outskirts by December and last up to two years, the club's American president James Pallotta announced Monday as he handed over a detailed dossier on the project to city authorities.
'If we are going to consistently compete as a top club in the world we need a new stadium, a stadium that is privately owned by AS Roma,' Pallotta said, adding that the entire project will amount to 'one of the most important projects in Italy in many, many decades.'
With a design inspired by the Colosseum, the stadium will seat 52,500 spectators and be able to expand to 60,000 for major matches.
The site in Tor di Valle is about halfway between downtown and the Leonardo Da Vinci airport. The 300 acre area will also include a training ground for Roma, three high-rise office towers, plus parks and commercial and entertainment areas.
Costs for the stadium itself are estimated at £217million but the overall price includes surrounding infrastructure and transport.
While some of the financing is expected to come from Roma's sponsors like Nike, it remains unclear where the other money will come from.
'In terms of who wants to invest, we have a substantial list and I'm positive that they wouldn't like us to name them today,' Pallotta said. 'But we don't feel like we're going to have an issue at all with the financing of the stadium.'
Slated to open during the 2017-18 season, the stadium has been a big goal since Roma was purchased by a four-man group of Boston executives, who in 2011 became the first foreign majority owners of a Serie A club.

Barcelona line up new deal for Neymar.

The Brazil captain will be handed a new deal keeping him at the club until 2020 with a buy-out clause rising to €250million (£180m) if Josep Maria Bartomeu, who stood down from the presidency last week so that the club's electoral process could begin, wins the July 18 elections.
Bartomeu was vice-president when Barcelona signed Neymar in 2013 and then succeeded Sandro Rosell who stood down over the tax evasion charges that followed the transfer.
Bartomeu has been called to stand trial over an alleged €13m (£9.5m) in taxes the Spanish treasury claims should have been paid on the transfer.
But while the legal battle rumbles on Barcelona paper Sport claim Bartomeu has already agreed a two-year extension to Neymar’s original contract that runs until 2018 and for his buy-out clause to match the one placed on Lionel Messi.
The deal will only be signed off if Bartomeu wins the election next month. If Joan Laporta, who is expected to step forward as a candidate in the next seven days, wins then negotiations will begin a fresh.
According to Sport Neymar’s net earnings would rise to €12m (£8.5m) if the new contract is signed placing him on a par with captain Andres Iniesta and below only Messi on Barça’s pay-scale.
