Arsene Wenger has confirmed Theo Walcott could make his return from injury against Sunderland on Saturday.
Arsenal are in the midst of an injury crisis; key players Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin all missing.
Wenger says Walcott will undergo a late fitness test ahead of the clash against the Black Cats at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal have not won in the Premier League since Halloween, when they beat Swansea 3-0.
The north London side have since drawn with fierce rivals Tottenham, lost to West Brom and drawn at Norwich.
