Liverpool prepared to fight Chelsea for Pedro.

Liverpool are ready to challenge Chelsea for the signing of Barcelona star Pedro, according to reports in Spain.
The winger, 27, has a £22million (30m euros) release clause in his contract and has admitted it could be time to leave the Catalan giants.
Chelsea have been monitoring his situation and were thought to be leading the race, but now Sport claim that Premier League rivals Liverpool could look to use some of the £49m they received for Raheem Sterling on the speedster.
The only problem Brendan Rodgers may have, however, is convincing Pedro to opt for Anfield. Liverpool are not able to offer Champions League football but are looking to spend big.
Any transfer cannot be finalised until after these elections take place and it is claimed Liverpool are hoping to take advantage of the delay to make a late move.
