Ronaldo returns to full training

Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to full training with the Real Madrid squad. Ronaldo sustained a calf injury in the Club World Cup final while playing against Gremio.
The injury  had cast a doubt on Ronaldo being fit for the Classico match, but his return to full training will be a big boost to Real Madrid.

Video assistant referee (VAR) to be used in Carabao Cup semi-final

Video assistant referee (VAR) will be introduced in the Carabao Cup semi-final match between Chelsea and Arsenal in January 2018.
The EFL have confirmed that VAR will be used for the first time in the competition on January 10 when Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge for the 1st-leg, and when Chelsea travel to the Emirates Stadium for the second-leg on January 24 2018. VAR will also be used in the Carabao Cup final on February 25 2018.
