Coutinho ruled out against Huddersfield


Philippe Coutinho is set to miss Liverpool's game against Huddersfield and their Champions league tie against Maribor.
Coutinho has an abductor strain which could see him miss some games.

Harry Kane to miss Manchester United clash



Harry Kane is set to be out of Tottenham's premier league clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford due to a hamstring strain.
Although, Pochettino confirmed Kane's injury is not considered serious and he could be fit in time to face Real Madrid in the Champions League.

N'Golo Kante is nearing his Chelsea return has he resumed first team training on Thursday. The midfielder was ruled out for four weeks after picking up a hamstring injury during the international break.
Chelsea will be hoping to have him back against Roma and Manchester United.

Eric Bailly returns to training



Eric Bailly has returned to training at Manchester United after being out for three weeks. This will be a big boost to United as they face Tottenham on Saturday.

Leicester appoint Claude Puel as their new manager


Leicester city have appointed Claude Puel as their new manager. Claude Puel who was the former manger of Southampton has decided to take over Leicester after Craig Shakespeare was sacked.
Leicester City Vice Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha confirmed the appointment of Claude Puel by saying “When we began the process of identifying a new manager, the Board quickly established the profile of candidate we needed to take the Club forward and Claude Puel was a perfect fit.       
“Upon meeting Claude, his attention to detail, knowledge of our squad, understanding of our potential and his vision to help us realise it were extremely impressive. He quickly emerged as the outstanding candidate and I am delighted we will have the opportunity to reinforce our long-term vision, aided significantly by his expertise.”

Cristiano Ronaldo wins FIFA best player of the year


Cristiano Ronaldo has once again been crowned as the best FIFA men's player of the year ahead of Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Zinedine Zidane won the Best FIFA Men's Coach, Buffon won FIFA goalkeeper of the year, Olivier Giroud won the FIFA Puskas Award for goal of the year, Celtic won the Best Fans prize award ahead of Borussia Dortmund and FC Copenhagen supporters,Lieke Martens won the Best FIFA Women's Player award, Netherlands coach Sarina Wiegman was named Best FIFA Women's Coach after guiding them to Euro 2017 glory.
                   




Everton sack Ronald Koeman


Everton have sacked Ronald Koeman after their 5-2 loss to Arsenal on Sunday. A statement on the club's official website read "Everton Football Club can confirm that Ronald Koeman has left the Club.
Chairman Bill Kenwright, the Board of Directors and Major Shareholder Farhad Moshiri would all like to express their gratitude to Ronald for the service he has given to the Club over the past 16 months and for guiding the Club to seventh place in last season’s Premier League campaign".

Kylian Mbappe wins Golden Boy award


Kylian Mbappe has won the Golden boy award ahead of Ousmane Dembele and Gabriel  Jesus.
The award is given to the best player under the age of 21 in Europe and is voted for by a panel of journalists from across the continent.
