Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta has signed a new one-year
deal at the Emirates.
Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado will move to Chelsea this month, but only if the west London club pay the full €35m
to activate his release clause which expires this summer.
However, that fee is non-negotiable, while the Serie A club also have no intention of taking Blues wide man Mohamed Salah on loan as part of the deal either.
Shakhtar Donetsk have yet to comment on rumours
claiming they are in advanced talks with Chelsea for
forward Douglas Costa. The Brazilian has asked
the club to show some flexibility on their £30m asking
price.
