It’s been a busy weekend for the Arsenal squad and Mesut Ozil’s Instagram account suggests some players are better at handling it than others.
The German posted a sleepy-snap on Sunday night as he flew home from London ready for some catch up time with his family after a long season.
His snap came just hours after Arsenal’s open-top tour bus had done a tour of north London in celebration of their FA Cup final victory against Aston Villa.
Wrapped in a blanket with his dog, Balboa, the midfielder wrote: ‘Taking a nap on our way to unite with our family #mesutozil #LaFamilia’
Ozil will be hoping to return next season even better and even stronger after suffering from injury during this campaign.
Earlier in the week the 26-year-old blamed his three month absence from the Arsenal first team on trying too hard in training.
