Bayern Munich have appointed Jupp Heynckes as their head coach until the end of the season. Heynckes who won an historic treble with Bayern in 2012-2013 season has decided to come out of retirement.
A statement on the Bayern's official website read "The board of FC Bayern München AG and Jupp Heynckes have today reached an agreement until 30 June 2018. Jupp Heynckes will take over the position of head coach of FC Bayern München from Monday (9 October)".
