Oscar happy at Chelsea.
Oscar says he has no plans to leave Chelsea amid reports he
could be sold at the end of the season.
The Brazil international has started 24 of Chelsea's 32 Premier
League games this season but has been substituted in 18 of them.
And a newspaper report on Thursday claimed Jose Mourinho is
ready to listen to offers for the midfielder, who cost an estimated
£25m when he was bought from Internacional in the summer of
2012.
But in an interview with Saturday Night Football ahead of this
weekend's featured live game against Manchester United, Oscar
made it clear he sees his future at Stamford Bridge.
"I'm very happy here," he said. "I get along with everyone, and the club shows its praise towards me. Chelsea is one of the best clubs in the world, so I don't see why I would think of leaving.
"I'm very happy with Chelsea's season so far and happy with my
own performance as well, but I do think I could have contributed
more to the team.
"There are different tactics depending on the opponents we face,
and we respect the manager's choices. Sometimes I've ended up
not playing the entire match, but I'm doing my best to fulfil my
role."
Chelsea go into the United game on the verge of a fourth Premier
League title - eight points ahead of their visitors and seven ahead
of second-placed Arsenal, both of whom have played one game
more..
But Oscar said: "It seems easy, but it's definitely not. We face
United and then Arsenal, and those will be like two finals for us.
After those we will have a clearer idea of how close we are from
the title.
"We will certainly fight until the end of the season, but we hope we can be the champions as soon as possible."
