Liverpool have announced the signing of Hungary international goalkeeper Adam Bogdan from Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old Bogdan has 19 caps for Hungary and has made over 100 appearances for Bolton in the Premier League and Championship.
He will arrive at Anfield on July 1 to provide competition for Simon Mignolet. Current backup stopper Brad Jones will leave the club when his contract expires.
Bogdan played against Liverpool as Bolton held Brendan Rodgers' side to a goalless draw in the fourth round of the FA Cup in January at Anfield.
Bogdan is Liverpool's third signing of the 2015-16 season and third on a free transfer.
James Milner and Danny Ings have already agreed to move to Anfield upon the expiry of their deals with Manchester City and Burnley respectively.
